Joe Pellham put together this footage from the Zero demo on Friday. Chris Cole destroyed the place along with Garrett Hill and the rest of the Zero team. Garrett’s backside flip nosegrind out forward was one of the best things I’ve ever seen on the ledge. If you were here, thanks for coming to the first demo of the year at SPoT.

This year Neff also made all the official podium caps for the winners. So the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in Street, Vert, and Best trick will be given their very own one of a kind Neff x Tampa AM hat trophy! A generic hat was also made for those who can’t reach the podium, in a standard blue and white color way.

Vert is Dead Jam on Halloween

Skatepark of Tampa is proud to announce that we’re hosting our Vert is Dead Jam on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2009. Oursixth All Ages Contest of the year will be hosted on the Vert Ramp. That’s right. We’re creating a mini-street course on the VertRamp flat-bottom, prior to killing it sometime next year. We have a total of four Divisions and we’re giving away prizes up to 5th place in each one. We also hope to stoke out the kids with a few Product Tosses throughout the day. As always, we greatly appreciate your support and urge you to continue it by helping out with the Vert is Dead Jam!
